Sellers's dont fear. You're house will sell in this market, however your pricing expectations must be appropriate for the current market. Your biggest competition is not from existing re-sale homes, but rather from new home construction. They are really driving the price now! Many builders have reduced the price of their homes in the 20% range. I would advise now more than ever to ensure that your agent has a true marketing plan to sell your home, not simply placing your home in the MLS. What is your target market? What is the value propositon? ( What is the financial picture of someone who will purchase your home)? How will you reach your target market of buyers?
