Westside Danville

Rather than a single development, Westside Danville is a mixture of individual homes and small subdivisions. Included in the mix are newer homes as well as some of Danville s oldest properties.

Homes in this community were built, for the most part, during the 1950s and 1960s, however some are both older and younger than this. Single story ranchers are in plentiful supply, however many homes have been both updated and substantially remodeled, improving the overall value of the neighborhood. Large lots are common in this area, and in some cases, small subdivisions have been constructed upon lots that once contained small homes within their generous dimensions.

Homes in this area have continuously seen appreciation, and continue to be sought by discriminating homeowners. The Westside Danville area is normally described by boundaries. In general, homes on Danville boulevard and to the west of the street are considered to be Westside Danville homes.

The benefit of being listed in the much desired community of Westside Danville is evident by the fact that in some instances, homes on the east side of Danville boulevard are included with agents listings for properties on the west side.

Within the boundary line of Danville boulevard, homes found all the way up to the Alamo border are included with the west side Danville homes, but not ones down to the San Ramon boundary. The most southern point of homes that are considered to be part of Westside Danville is North of Danville Ranch on San Ramon Valley Boulevard.

Panoramic views of Las Trampas Open Space and Mt. Diablo, combined with spacious, flat lots have contributed to the appeal of this area, over many years.
